Peggy Epner left her career in theatrical costuming in 1999, to pursue a degree in Fine Art from the University of North Texas. While attending the university, Peggy was awarded a solo show at the Union Gallery on campus. Since that time, she has exhibited in a number of competitive shows, including the “Critic’s Choice” show at the Dallas Center for Contemporary Art, “Expo 2001” at 500X Gallery in Dallas (first place award), and the “Owa-Chito” Festival in Beavers Bend Resort, OK (first place award). Peggy has executed numerous portraits and large-scale artworks for private patrons.
